KNIGHTS OF
PURPOSE:
To provide Financial Assistance to student(s) graduating
from 8th Grade who are dependent children or grandchildren of
members in good standing of Westbury Council 1012 and have committed to further
their Catholic School education. The
scholarship will be awarded to eligible students graduating in the spring and
attending a
AWARD:
The scholarship award amount is a one time award of between $200 and $500. The amount of the scholarship awards will vary depending on the number of qualifying applicants and funding availability. Scholarships are awarded based their role as a practicing catholic, and the applicant’s activity within his or her church, school and community. Decision by the representatives of the Scholarship Committee is final.

4) A one page essay, written by the applicant, describing his or her activities within the applicant’s church, school and community and reason for continuing their catholic education
5) Students for who English is not their first language may submit a literature entry in their own language. An interpretive translation MUST accompany the entry
6) Handwritten or typed entries are acceptable
